blur some text?

I have a screenshot where I want to blur a portion of text. How do I do that using RW Paint?

Sorry, I'm a complete noob. Please describe every step after I created a new image from clipboard. I.e. how to select a rectangle, then how to blur what's inside it. Thanks.

1. Switch to "Simple select" tool - it is in the group with other selection tools.
2. Select a rectangle by dragging from left upper corner to right lower one. (Unselected part will be dimmed.)
3. Run Gaussian blur from Effect menu.
4. Press ESC to cancel the selection.

Thanks for prompt response and a great tool. Just started using it. I find the documentation hard for someone learning from scratch. A screenshot somewhere in the documentation (wiki) would be great, mapping out all the buttons. Had to dig for "Simple select", found it under Magic Wand.
