I concur with both Spaceman and Shantorian in that your images should be cropped to remove the white backgrounds.

The set is original in design but could be better if the backgrounds were removed.
This can be done in RealWorld Paint.

As this set is an entry in the May TOTM contest I strongly suggest that you do all you can to improve your icon set before the May TOTM contest deadline.
