Metal Series IconsA set of icons that are made with a metal frame around them. I am only including icons for the Microsoft Office 2010 set so far, but perhaps, Visio, Groove, etc. will be added later.

The frames are perfect, both steel and rusty variants! The letters could probably be a little smaller, parts of them are hidden behind the frames. And maybe they should have black outlines that would make them stand out.

I had been really picky with downloads, in fact, this is my first dowload, and this works deserves that.
The effects are very cool. I love Metal and Glass effects, because both use bevel. And, by having a glass framed in metal…… metal works as outline, other of my beloved effects along with the before mentioned bevel and the shadow…
I will replace the Office icons with those.
