sixλxis: A purpose for these, or any icons, would be to assign them to customize your personal computer. They can be an easily recognized application icon on your desktop. They could be assigned to particular folders or used to customize program icons. Frankly I am surprised at such a lack of imagination.

I have many random aesthetically pleasing icons customizing many of my personal folders and programs for easy and quick location of what I am looking for. Then again, I have tons of things on my pc which I actually use on a daily basis.
