You can output the resized versions directly to another folder. Try this: "-cC:\Users\Admin\Downloads\(subfolder)\<NAME>.jpg" The command I use looks like this, so you might need to modify: "-cC:\temp\<PATH><NAME>_thumb.jpg"

You could create a batch file or windows script and use something like robocopy to move the files based on a certain date and recreate the folder structure to a temporary location, resize the photos there, then have it move them back when photoresize is done.

The problem is that portrait orientation images are showing up sideways in my webpage. Can you add simple rotate functionality to the commandline process for photoresize based on the exif info? Thank you for the response but it would be a major undertaking to divide the folders/subfolders into four, then put it back together. I tested it by running 4 instances of the program in parallel and it worked great, just under four times as fast. I'm not sure I follow... update it to use multiple cores for processing just one image? I'm not really seeing the advant...
RW Photos batch process from command line?
Hello, I was the one that posted about exif info and rotation in picture resizer comments. I checked out the page "Rotate by EXIF tag and resize pictures" for RW Photos, but what I would like to know is if you can control RW Photos from a command pr...That would be neat, but I don't see it working for me since software never does it right. I have to ZIP all my files up since it would take 4 times as long to do em individually rather than one big file (since it has to start/stop for each file... there is a lot of extra communication needed between the server and client)... I upload 7,000-14,000 photos per week. ๐...

Great Software! It took me a couple hours to figure out how to set up all the features I needed, but I got it working smoooth now via batch file.
