You can output the resized versions directly to another folder. Try this: "-cC:\Users\Admin\Downloads\(subfolder)\<NAME>.jpg" The command I use looks like this, so you might need to modify: "-cC:\temp\<PATH><NAME>_thumb.jpg"
Hi Vlasta, any chance we can get a switch like -S except skips file if same resolution (not just smaller). Or if this already exists, what command line arguments do I use? Thanks!
Hi Vlasta, Will this program work with all 6 cores for the new AMD 6 core processors? I will be using Windows 7 64-bit. I have a 4 core processor now and it works awesome. Thanks, -brian

Can't get -u flag to work

Vlasta, thank you so much for your continued support of this great software. With that said, I can't seem to get the -u flag to work. I am so excited you added this new feature!! I have mostly the same files in both destination and source, but it p...

Photo Resizer - Multiple PC processing?

I would love to have the ability to use multiple computers at once to speed up processing time. I have several computers that are networked together but only one computer at a time can process the photos. Any way you would implement multi-pc proces...
Hi Vlasta, Any updates on this feature? I think the PhotoResize.exe -1of4 C:\images PhotoResize.exe -2of4 C:\images PhotoResize.exe -3of4 C:\images PhotoResize.exe -4of4 C:\images could work perfectly! Thanks, -brian
You could create a batch file or windows script and use something like robocopy to move the files based on a certain date and recreate the folder structure to a temporary location, resize the photos there, then have it move them back when photoresize is done.

PhotoResize multi-core compatible?

I have a quad-core and its a shame it only uses one processor. : Is there anyway to make it use all four? Thanks, -brian

Another Request - Have resizer auto rotate via exif info

The problem is that portrait orientation images are showing up sideways in my webpage. Can you add simple rotate functionality to the commandline process for photoresize based on the exif info? Meaning, if the camera tagged the photo as vertical, t...
Works awesome!! Thank you so much. A small request with regards to the multi-core... can you easily add a way to specify either how much CPU to use or how many cores? I don't necessarily want the system going full throttle on it all the time. If you don't add this I'll still be a very happy camper, just putting this out there! ๐Ÿ˜Š
oh awesome i never knew that! ๐Ÿ˜Š
Thank you for the response but it would be a major undertaking to divide the folders/subfolders into four, then put it back together. I tested it by running 4 instances of the program in parallel and it worked great, just under four times as fast. I'm not sure I follow... update it to use multiple cores for processing just one image? I'm not really seeing the advant...

RW Photos batch process from command line?

Hello, I was the one that posted about exif info and rotation in picture resizer comments. I checked out the page "Rotate by EXIF tag and resize pictures" for RW Photos, but what I would like to know is if you can control RW Photos from a command pr...
That would be neat, but I don't see it working for me since software never does it right. I have to ZIP all my files up since it would take 4 times as long to do em individually rather than one big file (since it has to start/stop for each file... there is a lot of extra communication needed between the server and client)... I upload 7,000-14,000 photos per week. ๐Ÿ˜...
Thanks for the quick reply. I look forward to the official release of RW photos, in the mean time I will be using Photo Resizer with much delight. I will donate some $$$ here soon too.
Great Software! It took me a couple hours to figure out how to set up all the features I needed, but I got it working smoooth now via batch file. Would be nice if it had an ability to remove all EXIF data but leave only the orientation flag. This way when viewing the files they will be rotated correctly (or just rota...
