five bells lost now show their face
misery shines bright off the tepid moon
all shall derive from within this space
the shades of saudade shall now commune

pragmist faith shows paths unseen
the lotus blooms of deppened fen
all shall revere the great machine
now marks the fall of truth'd men

sordid folk did roam these parts
we sought to commit a cosmic crime
reckless fools, we sold out hearts
was then we heard the three bells chime

thrice the bells of fate were struck
bruised, beaten, battered
once was fate
twice was luck
but the third was all that mattered.
